Hey so even those demos like gripshift and formula one are not working . i have a FW 2.35 .

Please let me know if it isnt working then ill update my FW to play online . Thnx in advance..........

Hello I have a problem:(.
I have a playstation 3 firmware 2.60, I use the method PS3 proxy server.
I download the demo on my PS3 but when I want them installed, there is an error message that appears each time. I can not install PS3 demos via proxy.
Can you help me thank you

I was wondering this as well but i think this topic is now outdated.

This was my first thought because i didn't want to have to create a Japanese/European account just to test out a free dynamic theme. But i ended up getting the euro one from a friend and creating the jap account.

Okay I'm probably gonna get flamed, but the posts saying that this doesn't work anymore aren't entirely accurate. I have the first release model of the 80gb ps3, my firmware is up to date.. I didn't learn any of this til just recently. And saying that you can't connect to the Playstation store to get these games and demos is correct, but you can download the packages to your PC and instead of redirecting your ps3 thru the proxy. Where it says select a file select the PKG you've downloaded to your PC.. And before turning proxy on with the PS3 start to download a demo of anything.. Pause it, sign out, turn on the proxy in ur net settings on the PS3 with the proxy IP to your PC... then go back to the download and resume.. It will give you an unable to sign in to PS store error and tell you it's disconnecting.. but check your download.. it will still be named after the initial download you started buy the file size has changed to the PKG you have on your PC.. It is very touchy though on wireless connection it has taken about 5 times starting the download again, but I now have Gripshift running.. Not sure if I made a wired connection if it would make any difference in the behavior of the download.. But IT IS WORKING just use the links to download the PKG's to your PC, then on select file on PS3 Proxy set it to your PKG, then proceed as normal.. If I get flamed to badly I'll make a video to prove it, if I get flamed after that... it's your loss not mine!

isn't this just too much hassle for only demo's ?

and in your example you have to have an ps3 connected to the internet anyway , so why not download demo's directly to the ps3

this is all useless anyway, just download demo's straight from the psn shop to your ps3
