I actually did a double-take on this press release right here. Reading the title, I was like, "no way" and then "yes way" and then "whooooa." Bethesda Softworks has confirmed that the Fallout 3 DLC, which have been reaffirmed by Pete Hines to be exclusive for the Xbox 360 and PC, will now also be coming to the PS3 starting this June!
No specific release dates have been notched, but Operation: Anchorage is already scheduled to go live on the PlayStation Network in late June, with The Pitt and Broken Steel getting released "4-6 weeks apart." A new patch update for Fallout 3 will be released for the PS3 to pave the way for these DLC.
And oh, Pete Hines, you silly little rabbit, you. Despite giving us the runaround just the other day by saying that Broken Steel would be the last DLC for Fallout 3, turns out there's not just one - but two new DLC add-ons! And even better, the following two DLC will be released across all three platform versions of Fallout 3:
[*]Point Lookout – Explore a massive new swampland area filled with new quests and content.
[*]Mothership Zeta – The aliens have returned, and they’re pissed. Experience an alien abduction first hand and find out if you’re tough enough to survive.
Both of these DLC will still get timed-exclusivity for the Xbox 360 and PC - late June for Lookout, late July for Zeta. The PS3 version will get the two after the first three DLC have been rolled out.All the game add-ons will be introduced via retail too.
[*]Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #1: Anchorage-Pitt, Xbox 360 and PC, June 12th across Europe
[*]Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #2: Steel-Lookout, Xbox 360 and PC, August across Europe.
[*]A Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition: a copy of the game and all five add-ons, October, £39.99 / €59.99 for Xbox 360 and PS3, and £29.99 / €49.99 for PC.
Everything seems to be in order. Let's just hope that when they roll out the upcoming DLC, they don't botch it up like last time... and the time before that... and the time before that... and, yes, the time before that too...
so Ps3 WLL FINALLY get the DLC as well

Bethesda piss me off....whilst they must have had this planned and were working on it they were telling me that it isn't going to happen and that they refused to swap my copy with a 360 copy. Since then I have wate time, effort and electricity in downloading Fallout for 360, which I did once, lost the file for and am now half-way through doing it again! UTTERLY CRAP SERVICE BETHESDA!!!

So your telling me, you bought the PS3 version and made them GIVE you a 360 copy, and when they denied, you went and DOWNLOADED an ILLEGAL copy. And this makes you pissed? You got 2 copies for the price of 1 AND what you were asking / doing is wrong.

What they did was wrong and it prompted my decision to definately hack my 360. Their customer services are pathetic as well....just rude, ignorant and very pathetic!

Yea but whilst developing it for PS3 they told me they definately wouldn't be bringing it to PS3 and were just really rude and obtuse towards me...they could have started with decent manners at least!
