I came to the party late on InFamous - I haven't been following it as long as that - but after I started seeing IGN get so hyped about it, I became interested. Now that I've seen all those trailers with the gameplay footage, it's probably my #1 game for the summer (that and maybe Batman: Arkham Asylum). It just looks phenomenal - like a cross between a GTA game and Spider-Man.

Well admittedly, I LOVE the footage they've released so far, but I think a big part of the hype on the game is the pedigree behind the company producing it. Sucker Punch is the same company that did the Sly Cooper series on the PS2, which was just amazingly good. This is a totally different type of game, but they've got a really strong tradition of quality, which helps a lot.

And how can you not like a sandbox game with karma-based mision decisions and superpowers? The concept alone just sounds like fun.
