PS3-Hacks.com / What version of Limux?

I want to install Linux on my PS3, but I don't know what version. For example, there's the YDL Sony sponsored one, then there's Fedora Core, and then some other one. I'm not a Linux user (installed ubuntu once at school), so I don't know which one is better and allows you to do more things.

Which one do I get?

i believe yellow dog is currently the best but i could be wrong

I'm going to try this Gentoo thing out also, I'll tell you guys how it works out for me when I'm done.

I also haven't found a good iso for YDL it keeps crashing after it starts to install, has this happened to anyone else.

(They're making too many versions of linux RREEEEEEEE! *hides*)

I mean it's cool that there's so many and they're all much more stable than Windows, but there's so damn many. I'm just wondering which one I can install on the PS3 to get the most features and play around and dump some iso's and stuff like that... you know.
