E3 starts this week and there will be lots of announcements about new games being released and stuff, so i will put all the announcements related to ps3 & xbox 360 in here and update this post with breaking news as it comes.
Modern Warfare 2 has officially joined the somewhat exclusive Microsoft DLC club. Infinity Ward's relentless first-person shooter will offer downloadable map packs (duh!), the first two of which will launch first on Xbox Live. The news came via Microsoft's E3 press, where Microsoft's John Schappert was keen to emphasize that the Xbox 360 version would lead the way in Modern Warfare 2's online component. gameplay video below

Hideo Kojima, you liar! The stealth action king stopped by the Microsoft Media Briefing to reveal Metal Gear Solid Rising for Xbox 360. Development's under way, but this new game may not be exclusive.
Microsoft answered many an open-world action game fan's prayers today by finally confirming Crackdown 2 for Xbox 360. The game -- which has been rumored for some time -- was shown in trailer form during the company's pre-e3 press conference, currently underway in LA.
Back in E3 at the LA Convention Center, Electronic Arts announced their brave new stab into the mixed martial arts gaming scene, EA Sports MMA for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The game is going to be developed by the guys who handled Madden and Tiger Woods, EA Tiburon, with the promise that the game will feature a wider variety of moves and fighting styles than the ones we've already seen.

Too be honest, i thought it was overrated. The guy even had to clap himself to get the audience going. The camera is like the PS eye.

The new camera they have where the person is the controller. It's very similar to the PS eye and the trials of topoq. The audience weren't really responding to the cues where the one dude wanted claps, he began clapping himself. ![]()

Yeah, like the PS3Eye but with 3D sensing and face and voice recognition. There conference was great and looks like a hard act to follow but at least Game-wise sony already has e3 in the bag. M$ showed a lot a good looking new features but most werent very "gamer" related. They're trying to get nintendos market share and if i was interested in the wii it would have worked...
You can download the whole conference here

it's to the right of the video screen.
Can't wait to see Sonys offerings, M$ kicked E3 off to a great start.

I dont know the motion sensing seemed really cool. I wonder how far they will be able to take it, cuz it seemed there was a large amount of lag in the ball game. Thou the interaction with the Lionsgate character was awsome and it got me wondering can you combine 3D Vision glases with consoles. As far as TV's goes nvidia seas it should work.

Man, I was waiting for this for so long and now I can't remember why...

MW2 looks unexciting! Oh, and what's that....a stage with 360 written all over it?! Must be because they are narrow-minded, sell-out arseholes!

Supposedly MGS Rising is NOT exclusive, or at least that's what I read - I think it's going to both the 360 and the PS3, and possibly even PC. The OTHER MGS title, though - Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker - will be exclusively on the PSP, and it's supposed to be a canonical sequel (it takes place 10 years after MGS3), unlike Rising, according to Kojima.
I was surprised there was NOTHING on the PS3 hardware announced, though - no price cuts, no Slim, not even a new game bundle!

There's still a few days. Maybe there'll be something.
Man, I wish I had G4 so bad. Then I could watch the conference live.

It IS the ps3eye. It's just being used now to support the remote games.
Also, if you haven't seen the tests done with it and the wii remote, I'm sure it was posted here. Look on that.
