i tend to agree with powerslave...but if it's regarding the VLC installation...here what i did...go to each repo file and copy the http add frm the repo and put in at the web browser.when u r trying to search/install vlc using terminal, click refresh at all the http add that u have copy on ur browser..hey it's a bit orthodox but it works for me...but mine is not dependencies prob though..just cant connect to each repo site that's all...and remember to do yum update on all basic ydl repo..sometimes it helps...
